Preparing for the ETS test
Applicants seeking employment as an instructional paraeducator who do not meet the new standards of an associates degree or higher will have to take the ETS ParaPro Assessment test. In an effort to make the testing experience go successfully and smoothly, we've provided the following tips and helpful study information.
The ETS website contains invaluable information for test takers. An online tutorial familiarizes paraeducators with navigating the ETS test and provides sample questions. The free eighteen question ETS Test at a Glance is also available to review detailed descriptions of assessment, sample questions, and explanation of answers.

Official ETS study guides are available for on-site use in Human Resources. We also have several unofficial copies for test takers to check out and bring back the night of testing. Timberland Public Library has official ETS study guides that can be checked out with a valid library card. The study guide is called ParaPro Assessment (Test codes: 0755 and 1755). You may email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (360) 412-4491 for more information.
