1. Is my information confidential?
    • Because NTPS is a public entity, your application is considered a public document and is subject to disclosure, upon request, whether you apply on a paper document or through the online process.
  2. Should I mail all required documents to NTPS is addition to using the online application process?
    • Yes. Send all paperwork to the District with attention to Application Services/Human Resources.  Any required credentials will be obtained if you are offered employment with the District.
  3. If I have already applied through the Public Schools Personnel Cooperative, should I still utilize NTPS's online application process?
    • Yes.  NTPS is no longer a member of the Public Schools Personnel Cooperative.  All NTPS applicants must submit a NTPS online application.
  4. What if my certification description is not listed in your table?
    • Choose the NOT LISTED entry in the table and type in the description as it reads on your certificate in the corresponding row provided below the Areas of Certification/Licensure portion of the application.
  5. What if my College/University is not listed in your table?
    • Choose the NOT LISTED entry in the table and type your College/University name in the corresponding row provided below the Colleges/Universities portion of the application.
  6. Am I required to provide information regarding Student Teaching Experience if I am an experienced teacher?
    • If you have 5 or more years of teaching experience, you do not need to complete the information requested under Student Teaching Experience.
  7. Am I required to provide information regarding Non-Teaching/Non-Education Experience?
    • If your work experience is relevant to the position for which you are applying, i.e., surgical nursing experience in a hospital if you are applying for a nursing position, you should include this information.
  8. How do I apply for a specific position?
    • You can apply for a specific position within the "Employment Preferences" section of the application.  You can add as many positions for which you are qualified.  You can only be considered for positions when all required materials have been received by Application Services.
  9. How long will my application file be kept on file?
    • Your application file will remain active for a period of one year.
