  • Rotary honors resilient seniors

    Several graduating seniors from North Thurston Public Schools were recently honored by the Rotary Club of Hawks Prairie as the “2013 Hawks Prairie Heroes.” NTPS staff members and Rotary members Mike Laverty and Teena Barnes help organize the awards. The students were nominated by their counselors for overcoming adversity in order to successfully complete high school.

  • 7th Annual “Day of Champions”

    Special education students from 9 local districts will come together to participate in the 7th Annual “Day of Champions” track and field event, Thursday, May 23 at Tumwater Stadium. Opening ceremonies will begin at 10:00 am.

  • Students shine at Lacey Fun Fair

    Congratulations to the following schools for placing in the Lacey Spring Fun Fair parade: Best dressed-up individual, Aluminum Robot from Lacey Elementary; Best dressed-up group, Woodland Elementary; and Most "Out of this World" entry, Lacey Elementary.
