PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
This is my eighth year teaching at Evergreen Forest.
Prior to coming to Evergreen Forest I taught in Clover Park & Newport News, Virginia.
Teaching is a passion and I believe all students are capable of learning.
As a life-long learner I have always enjoyed and valued education.
I Presently hold four college degrees:
Master's of English/Education 2000,
Business Administration 1998,
Business Management 1992,
Computer Programming 1988
I have earned my Washington Professional License 2009
Fourth grade is my favorite grade to teach although I have experience teaching grades 2, 3 and 5 as well.
I am actively involved in academic programs such as:
School Improvement Plan Committee/Leadership Team (6 years)
District Writing Cadre (6 years),
Science Lead Teacher for EFES (3years),
State Math Assessment Scoring Team in 2007 and 2008,
My goal is to pass on my love for learning and to help my students realize that they can be successful at anything they put their minds to accomplishing.
