  • Lakes Connect Nights

Join us every early release Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:00pm. Connect Nights are a great evening activity for families to come back to school with your student to access the library, computers and research resources. You’ll be able to check out books with your family, spend time reading and access electronics resources to support student learning. Over the course of the year we will be coupling these activities with other events such as family math night, cooking classes, holiday activities and other kinds of arts and crafts. Please join us for an evening of fun and learning!

Conflict or disagreement is normal and often happens when children get together. Our goal at Lakes is to teach students several positive ways to deal with these situations. To do this, we are asking students who have a minor problem to try to do at least two of the following ideas: Click "Kelso's Choices" link to find out more...

  • Be a Lakes WatchD.O.G. Dad!

WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is designed to engage men, inspire children, reduce bullying and enhance the educational environment at our school.  WATCH D.O.G.S. fathers and father figures who volunteer are asked to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities. At our kickoff, dads and students learned that through the WATCH D.O.G.S. program, they will have the opportunity to spend time at the school which will help their families as well as the school as a whole.
