PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

I am excited to be starting my fourth year here at Aspire.  Before Aspire, I taught choir at Chinook and Nisqually middle schools and taught music for a year at Horizon’s Intermediate.  I grew up with a strong love of music and feel so lucky to do this for a job.  I started taking piano lessons when I was 11, was in choirs and took voice lessons  throughout middle and high school.  I received my bachelor’s degree in music education, with a choral specialization, from Central Washington University in 2005.  While there, I actively participated in many choirs including Chorale, Chamber Choir, and Jazz Choir, while also taking piano and voice lessons.  This year I am teaching Concert Choir, Fire Choir, Project Music, and Music Arts.
