Science Fair 2013: The South Sound Regional Science Fair (SSRSF) was held at Pacific Lutheran University on March 23rd, 2013. The date for the Challenge Academy Science Fair was Wednesday, March 6th at Aspire Middle School. For award information, please see the link in the navigation pane on the left. Thank you to all the students, parents and especially judges for an awesome science fair!
Challenge Academy on Facebook: If you are a Challenge Academy parent or student and belong to Facebook, you can like and/or follow the North Thurston Challenge Academy. I post updates about class, choice pictures and activities from class, events and links of interest to our students, student and alumni accomplishments, and information for alumni. Just search for "North Thurston Challenge Academy" and check the site information to confirm that you are in the right place since evidently there are other challenge academy pages which do not belong to us!
Policies and Procedures: FAQ is up and running for this year! This page is located under the "Students and Parents" drop down menu on the left navigation panel. This page includes my policies and procedures for grading and student work.
Military Families: I have added a new page with links specifically for military families. If you are military, please check it out under the "Students and Parents" drop down menu on the left navigation panel. If you know of any other good resources for military families, please let me know. Challenge Academy Potluck: Thank you to all the families that participated in our Winter Potluck and Social! It was really great meeting all the new parents and getting re-acquainted with the returning parents!
MATHCOUNTS: MATHCOUNTS Club for the 2013-2014 school year will most likely meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:45 - 8:45 AM from October through February (March if we go to state again) for all grade levels.
Homework Corrections : Homework corrections will be uploaded into skyward. Students are responsible for completing and correcting their homework prior to class. Students can access corrections through their skyward account and go to message center.
