Vision

We believe that every student has the potential to achieve high levels of academic learning and performing arts achievement.  We further believe that each child is unique, and recognizing that, the magnet middle school will base educational programs upon methods of developing and utilizing this uniqueness.  The new school will be designed to foster academic excellence through our core program and promote the exploration of the performing arts in our enrichment program.

Mission

Our mission is to create an educational experience where rigorous academic standards, coupled with high quality performing arts instruction, challenges all students to reach their full potential as innovative problem-solvers, skillful artisans, and imaginative learners.

Goals

• To provide quality academic instruction that meets the needs of all students.
• To expand the opportunities for students to use the performing arts as a means to enrich their lives and those of the community.
• To increase students’ art experience in order to excel in all academic areas.
• To integrate performance experiences and events with the academic arena.
