I trust that you, like me, are rooting for more sun and a few less clouds in the coming weeks.  Springtime in the Northwest is truly amazing as the deciduous trees and plants begin to leaf out and the azaleas and rhododendrons blossom.

Conferences provide an important opportunity for you and your child’s teacher to set learning goals for the remaining third of the school year, celebrate growth, and gain an understanding of some of the curriculum coming up.  I encourage you to come to your conference with one or two questions you really want to ask during the conference, and make your child’s teacher aware of them at the beginning of your conference time.  Twenty minutes goes by fast!  I also encourage you to meet with your child’s Art, Library, P.E., and Music teachers while you are here.
