  • Timberline student places in August Wilson Monologue Competition

    Congratulations to Reneeka Massey-Jones for her amazing performance at the August Wilson Monologue Competition. She competed against 10 other students from Washington, including Timberlines's Luis Romero and took 2nd Place receiving $250.00 and an all expense paid trip to compete nationally in NYC on Broadway.

    North Thurston High School held it’s first ever academic pep assembly. The assembly focused on recognizing, reinforcing and rewarding students working to make positive contributions to North Thurston.

    North Thurston High School's Jazz choir was invited to participate in the Joint Legislative Memorial Service in the Senate Chamber in February.

  • WIAA state cheerleading competition

    The North Thurston and Timberline cheer staffs (pictured here) competed at the WIAA state cheerleading competition on January 26 at the University of Washington. The NTHS squad took 3rd place in the Small 2A/3A category. Timberline took 5th in the Non-Tumbling Co-Ed 3A/4A category. Congrats to both cheer staffs and their coaches!   • Olympic View Chess Team soars high

    The Olympic View Eagles Chess Team earned the First Place Team Trophy at the South Sound’s largest chess tournament, the Charles Wright Chess Challenge on Saturday, February 9th.

  • Evergreen Forest has fun with math!

    Nearly 60 students and parents turned out for Family Math Night last Tuesday at Evergreen Forest. There were fruit snacks and popcorn to eat, math games to play and teachers who were available to talk and help with homework. Read story in The Olympian.
