Joelene Holley-Thomas

 

Joelene was born and raised in Montesano, WA. She went to Grays Harbor Community College and received her Associates Degree and from there went to Western Washington University with a focus in Special Education K-8. She has worked for North Thurston Public Schools for 11 years and at Lakes for 8 of those years. She enjoys writing, blogging, and spending time with her family. Both of her children attended school in North Thurston.

 

 

 

 

 

Vieng Soukhaphonh

 

 Vieng was born in Laos and moved to Thurston County in 1989.   She attended SPSCC and Evergreen College.  She graduated with her Masters Degree in Environmental Studies.  She has worked for North Thurston Public Schools for 22 years and Lakes for 6 years.  She likes to cook, read books about natural remedies, and volunteering at the Co-op.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lynn Lendzion

 

 Lynn was born in Pontiac, Michigan and moved to this area in 1976.  She has worked for North Thurston Public Schools for 22 years at Lakes Elementary.  She has been married for 35 years and has 3 children and 2 grandchildren.  She loves gardening, being a grandparent, and traveling.  One of her favorite places she has traveled was Prague, Czech Republic.

 

 

 

 

 

Sharon Kartman

 

Sharon was born in Naselle, WA.  She has worked for North Thurston Public Schools at Lakes Elementary for 5 years.  Before that she filled in as a substitute here.  She enjoys penguins, snow, and is a huge fan of baseball .   She is a member of the Booster Club at Timberline High School where her son attends school.

Annette is from SeaTac, WA.  She has been with our district for 18 years now, all at Lakes Elementary.  She has two boys who also attended North Thurston Public Schools. Annette enjoys home improvement and different arts and crafts projects.

 

 

 

 

Jamie Pontius

Jamie was born and raised in Fife, WA.  She has been with our district and Lakes in particular for 13 years.  She has two boys who currently attend school in North Thurston Public Schools.  She enjoys shopping, reading, and exercising.   Jamie especially loves spending time with her family.

 

 

 

Patty Parr

Patty was born in Munich, Germany and grew up in Lacey, WA.  She attended Mt. View, Chinook, and North Thurston High School.  She has been with our district for 7 years, and this is her first year here at Lakes.  She is a sport mom who enjoys watching her two boys play football and baseball. 

 

 

 

 

Tracy Fosbre

Tracy was born in Moscow, Idaho, grew up all over, and then attended school in Enumclaw, WA.  She has been a volunteer at Lakes Elementary for 8 years, and this is her first year joining us in the Learning Center.  She love to read, jigsaw puzzles, gardening, and hiking.  She has two boys that attend school in our district.  Tracy is our PTA president as well.
