"You Made My Day!"
Here is what people are saying about NTPS employees:
April
Cal Anderson is a real treasure when it comes to promoting the music program in our district. Even though many of the high school musicians are heavily involved right now in preparing for the musical "Show Boat" at THS, Cal was still committed to putting together a group to perform at Lakes Multicultural Night. He makes Timberline feel like a natural extension of our Lakes family. It really made my day, though, seeing Cal rock out with Jerry Huff and the high school musicians on the last set of the evening! Submitted by Shauna Kamenz.
Jerry Huff once again came through with flying colors for Lakes Multicultural Nighy by bringing Aspire band musicians to perform. He personifies all that is best about the music program in our district by generously sharing the talents of his middle school students as well as showing his own enjoyment of performing by rocking out with the Timberline High School musicians in the final set of the evening. Jerry is a real gem. Submitted by Shauna Kamenz.
Cheri Kelley did a beautiful job preparing third grade students for today's "Sing and Dance" performance. Cheri is a tireless music/movement coach and wonderful teacher. Thank you for inviting the first and second graders along with parents to enjoy the performance. Bravo! Submitted by Cherie Friend.
Shauna Kamenz noticed that we didn't have any fifth-grade writing anchor papers at the level '4' yet for spring. A few of her students exceeded standard and wrote with wonder and curiosity about trading places with another person or animal. She took the time to send her papers to me so that we can have a complete set. Not only did I read the racoon paper out loud to a colleague, I felt so thankful that I work in a district where tools and resources are shared in such a professional way. Thank you, Shauna. I really appreciate you. Submitted by Heather Rader.
Kevin Brandenburg ROCKS! He is always helpful and flexible! Kevin never says no to helping with 5th grade rotation questions or solving technology problems. He makes himself available and does it with a smile! Thank you Kevin for being a GREAT ASSET to our team! Submitted by Lesley Hetzler.
Edie Stillwell comes in every morning with a big smile on her face before her start time every morning and helps our students at breakfast. She is very kind and considerate and a team player in everything she does. Thank you, Ms. Edie! Submitted by Bill Silva.
