PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

This is my 16th year teaching middle school students!  I graduated from Central Washington University in 1996 with endorsements in Special Education (K-12) and Elementary Education (K-8).  In 2001, I earned my Master's Degree in Teaching and in 2008 I became a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Adolscent Mathematics.  I began my teaching career in the Tahoma School District as a middle school special education teacher.  Two years later, I became a math teacher in the Carbonado School District where I taught 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders for 7 years.  In 2005, I began working for North Thurston Public Schools at Chinook Middle School.  I am honored to be a member of the team that helped open Aspire's doors.
