This year’s author was Kashmira Sheth, award-winning writer of books for young adults and children. Click here to read more on ThurstonTalk.com and to find out who the 2015 winners are.
At first glance, it’s just another PE class at Timberline High School. If you look at little closer you might notice – and you have to look pretty close – that some of the 27 kids have physical or developmental disabilities, while others don’t. Before the class some of them had never been in a swimming pool, while others had never met someone with special needs.
Congratulations to our regional Solo and Ensemble winners, who competed in instrumental and vocal contests in January and February. The winners move on to a statewide competition in Ellensburg in late April. That contest features winners from the Washington Music Educators Association’s (WMEA) 22 regions throughout the state.
Timberline's theater students recently attended the 2015 Washington Thespian Festival where they received the Gold Honor Troupe Award for Outstanding Theater Program in the state! Click on bold headline to see other honors received.
