PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
This is my 9th year teaching at North Thurston High School after receiving a Bachelor's in French from Western Washington University in 2002. In 2000 I had the opportunity to study French language and culture at Le Centre International d'Etudes Françaises in Angers, France located in the Loire Valley. After graduating from Western I also studied at L'Université Stendhal III in Grenoble, France the 1968 home of the Winter Olympics. In addition to my studies of French, in 2008 I received a Master's degree in Education and Technology from City University.
I currently teach French I through French IV and continue to travel as much as possible. In 2006 I accompanied 6 students from NTHS in addition to a group of 30 plus students from Bellingham on a 21 day trip to France where students participated in a one week homestay and were required to communicate entirely in French. In July of 2010, Spanish teacher Suzanne Funston and I took a group of 12 students to both France and Spain.
