CROSS COUNTRY NEWS!

What a weekend down in Battle Ground for the Cross CountryDistrict Championship!  Ashli Ayers, breaks the school record in placing 4th overall, in the time of 19:28.8 for an amazing time and race.  FreshmanLauryn Gray, runs the 2nd fastest freshman time, in our school history,at 20:17 to place 16th.  The only problem in placing 16th, is that the top 15 go to state….talk about agony of defeat.  All seven boys ran huge personal bests, and the girls teamplaced 3rd, best from our league and 6th in district, overall.  How cool is it to say....”I’m the best runner in 21 years at myschool!"  Go Hawks, as we head to Pasco this weekend for the State Championship!!!!
