PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

I am in my 32nd year of teaching! I began my career in the Shelton School District, teaching middle school and elementary special education. In 1986, I was fortunate to be able to move to South Bay Elementary School, where I have been happily teaching ever since. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Oregon, and a Master’s Degree from Pacific Lutheran University. After teaching special education for 18 years, I was excited to begin teaching 5th grade. Even after all these years, I love the challenges that teaching provides and the opportunity to be creative and learn myself.
