  • NTPS will be participating in the Washington State Healthy Youth Survey for 2014.  The survey will be offered to students in grades 6, 8, 10 and 12. Results are used by schools, communities and state agencies to plan programs to support youth and reduce risks.  Participation is voluntary and answers are anonymous. Click here to learn more.

  • Lakes Connect Nights

    Join us every early release Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:00pm. Connect Nights are a great evening activity for families to come back to school with your student to access the library, computers and research resources. You’ll be able to check out books with your family, spend time reading and access electronics resources to support student learning. Over the course of the year we will be coupling these activities with other events such as family math night, cooking classes, holiday activities and other kinds of arts and crafts. Please join us for an evening of fun and learning!

    At Lakes, we have been reviewing our three rules: Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Safe and teaching the students how these rules apply to the different areas in the school. Conflict or disagreement is normal and often happens when children get together. Our goal at Lakes is to teach students several positive ways to deal with these situations.
