PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
Welcome, I am Nancy Stoker. I taught for 11 years before "retiring" to raise my family. I came out of "retirement" and started teaching again about 10 years ago. I taught for the Olympia School District for my first 10 years in Tenino, Rochester, and Rainer, before coming to the NTSD where I have taught self contained resource, resource room and self contained special education. I have worked at Lakes, Woodland and Lacey Grade School for NTSD.
I was raised in the Olympia area and attended the Olympia School District. I graduated at CWU with graduate work at U of W.
I married a man who graduated from NTHS and WWU. We have three children; a son who is a senior at WWU; a daughter who is a junior at NU this fall ; and another daughter is a senior at THS.
All of my teaching experience has been with special needs children or within the justice system.
