I graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. I received my Master's Degree from Heritage University in 2000. I also attended Central Washington State University to obtain my Librarian credentials. I began teaching in 1974 and have taught in Illinois and Minnesota and Washington. Most of my experience has been in the primary grades and for the previous two years I taught first grade at Evergreen Forest. I also served as the librarian at Evergreen Forest for several years.
It is great to be back working in the school library where I can interact with all the children in the school! Nothing is more fulfilling for me than seeing the eyes of children light up as they experience a connection to the world through books.
