PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
I was raised in Alaska and moved to Washington with my husband and three children on Christmas Eve of 1989. Since then we have had many foster children and adopted two girls. Our youngest daughter is a junior at Olympia high school. The others are adults. I have one 8 year old granddaughter. I love animals and the ocean, especially in Hawaii where it is warm!
I taught preschool in North Thurston Public Schools for 18 years. I taught first and second grade in Seattle three years before that. I taught kindergarten in the 2011-2012 school year. I am now teaching K-6 special education in the resource room.
I have a degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Special Education and Early Childhood Education. In addition, I received my Masters of Education in Early Childhood Education in 2008 from University of Phoenix.
