    St. Mark's tends an epic garden across the street from Mountain View Elementary and for years, students have been making the short trek to visit, tend, and participate in raising fuits and vegetables which eventually make their way to the Thurston County Food Bank.

  • Lacey, Woodland and Aspire receive Washington Achievement Award

    Three district schools have won the state’s highest honor – the prestigious 2015 Washington Achievement Award -- which is based on testing data and student achievement efforts for the past three years. Lacey and Woodland Elementary Schools, and Aspire Middle School for the Performing Arts were among 258 schools who received the honor, given each year by the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction and the State Board of Education.
